SBMS College - Admission 2026, Fees, Courses, Placement, Ranking

To apply for admission to SBMS College, Kamrup, students must fill out the application form provided by the college. This form comes with the college prospectus.

• Admissions are based strictly on merit (your marks or performance) and follow the college’s rules. The decision of the Admission Committee is final.

• If you studied under a board or university other than SEBA, AHSEC, or Gauhati University, you must submit a migration certificate during admission.

• For degree courses, attending a counseling session before taking admission in the 1st semester (TDC course) is mandatory. The college will arrange this session.

• If you passed your last qualifying exam before the current year, you need to submit a gap certificate signed by a Government Gazetted Officer, explaining what you did during the gap period.

• At the time of admission, you must show the original copies of the following documents:

  • Mark sheet

  • Pass certificate

  • Age certificate

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

• You also need to attach self-attested photocopies of these documents with your application form. Without these, your form won’t be accepted.

• Along with your form, you must submit a Guardian Declaration Form signed by your parent or guardian. This form will be provided with the application.
